Line movement
Every FanDuel prop move, kept
A prop's current line tells you where the market is. Its history tells you where it started, how far it travelled and when. Each FanDuel Sportsbook line and price change is stored with its timestamp, so you can see where a prop opened and how it moved.

Two price-only moves took the over from +105 to -118 on the same 3.5 line before the line itself changed. A model that only reads the current line never sees those moves.

What line movement is good for:
- Closing line value. Record the price you would have taken and compare it to where the prop closed.
- Steam and stale lines. Spot a prop that moved fast, or one that has not moved while related props did.
- Backtests. Replay a slate as it looked at any time, not only as it closed.
