From a free key to a working prop model
Six steps, in the order that saves the most time, each with the page that does it. Most people get from step one to a first evaluation in an afternoon.

The steps
- Get a free key. Sign up, then create a key under Keys. Free reads every endpoint five minutes behind, which is fine for building. Sign up.
- Read five props. Run the starter client or the playground to see the shape of a prop: line, both prices, fair price and move summary. Starter kit.
- Pull graded history. Graded results give closing line against the box score; per-prop history gives every move before the start. Graded examples.
- Build features from movement. Line moves, price moves and the fair price at open and close. Most of the movement is in price, not line. Movement study.
- Fit, then beat the market. Evaluate against the closing fair price, split by time, and measure closing line value on the bets you would make. The Python guide.
- Go live. Switch to a paid plan for real-time lines, then follow the change feed or stream instead of polling the board. Pricing.
